Head-turning Art

12 of our seniors just finished their 10-week long pose in the advance painting programme. One of them photographed the pieces and stringed them into an animated gif creating this one second long animation. Imagine how long it would take for these 12 artists to create a 90-minute animated feature film in oil. It'd take 55.5 years working on the project 24/7 !!

Anatomy Programme

The Angel Academy's evening anatomy programme has begun for the 2014-2015 academic year.  It includes 15 hours of lectures, 70 hours of drawing from the live model, 18 home assignments as well as an occasional trip to La Specola natural-history museum where students can study from anatomical models.
